Boston, MA (January 12, 2009) - Go211.com (www.go211.com), the premier action sports social networking and online video share site, announced that this week’s live webshow series, “Go211 Weeklies”, will be webcast on-location from the Burton European Open in Laax, Switzerland and will feature a live interview with Olympic Gold Medalist Gian Simmen of Switzerland.  This week’s webshow airs Thursday, January 15th at 6pm EST/3pm PST at www.go211.com/weeklies.

The show is traveling to Laax, Switzerland and will air from the Burton European Open.  The highlight of the European snowboard competition scene, the BEO is the only event on the continent open to all riders, drawing more than 500 riders to compete in halfpipe and slopestyle disciplines.

Hosted by Pro Snowboarder Tricia Byrnes, “Go211 Weeklies” covers all the weekly happenings in Surf, Skate, Snow, and BMX, along with special guest appearances and idle chatter about what’s new, what’s hot, and what’s what in the action sports community.  Go211 members can be a part of the webshow by e-mailing in local happenings from their neck of the woods.
