31. Worst moment in BMX? from: Tim DingerWaking up in an ambulance going from Woodward east to State College hospital. Hit my head and broke my back. So every bump we went over it felt like i can to then blacked out. 3 months on a couch and relearning how to do stuff. That could be the worst moment for me. Actually anytime your friends get really hurt riding a bike is a bad moment. So everyone listen to me, don't get hurt anymore... |

30. sorry I meant Mesh. Got confused with the Baco Jam from: Billy-GO211Mesh is a crazy blender or blur and random things that happen for no reason. Its like having a hurricane of kids asking and telling you things that will twist up your mind and really think the state of a kids mind. Good ramps, indoors, hot as hell, sweat, scabs, mustaches, mustache rides, and moms drinking whisky in the parking lot. Welcome to florida |

29. Whats more work-being the owner of Baco or being a pro BMX rider? from: Billy-GO211baco is really easy, we don't do anything ever. Plus I don't have anything baco except shot glasses and some stickers. So that is really easy and I love it. Being a pro rider is pretty tough sometimes. Like when your not feeling it. But most times its all good times and the good out-weighs the bad... |

16. Hey Chad, I am getting back into riding and am looking to get a new frame, as my frame now (2000 Haro Backtrail pro) is heavy and dated. Although it is ancient today, it is burly and has no bends or cracks, a true testament to that era of bmx. I am 6'2 187lbs and am looking for something strong enough to withstand my size, but not feel like im towing a cement block like I do now. I enjoy flowing through my local cement park (athens, OH) hitting hips and carving bowls, nothing too intense. I have been out of the loop for a while and cannot determine which is a good frame for me with so many options out their today (chromoly, high tensile steel, low frame geometry etc.). What is a frame that will hold up and provide maximum fun? cuz thats what this whole riding bikes thing is about right? from: KOI would have to say the Deco. frame is the best for you. It isn't available yet, sit tight till early 2010. You should be on a 21" with how tall you are, but if you want a smaller feel and be able to throw around your bike, step down to a 20.5. That should work for you. Most frames these days are the weight you want, so that is pretty easy. You should pick a company that you want to support. Don't buy a complete, those frames don't have the right metal and you will bend them for sure...buy a frame considered street or park. Don't get a flatland or dirt style. This should help you and feel better carving pools and riding cement parks.
End result, upgrade. Keep your eyes peeled for Deco. Frames...holla |
