Following up on the first article about the Stand Up for Skateparks benefit, Tony Hawk Foundation’s Media Relations came forward again and made available a large selection of action photos of the vert demo that took place during the event.
Guest skaters Bucky Lasek, Pierre Luc Gagnon, Andy Macdonald, Kevin Staab and Lincoln Ueda – and BMXers Simon Tabron and Coco Zurita – showed off their skills on the halfpipe with contest-winning runs.
But the highlight belonged to Tony himself who landed once again the legendary 900, while being cheered by the likes of Tom Green and Fred Durst on the ramp deck. Durst, member of band Limp Bizkit, also captured some footage of the demo using his mobile phone.
